Danny BELKIN
Technology Development & Commercialization Director, Singapore Eye Research Institute
Danny is the Technology Development and Commercialization Director of the Singapore Eye Research Institute (SERI). He has over 15 years of wide-ranging experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries, having been part the founding team of a stem cell therapy company; working for several years at Abbott Labs Europe in a strategic marketing and special projects management role; and now building up SERI’s TD&C capabilities as part of the largest public healthcare group in Singapore, including large strategic industrial co-development collaboration programs, incubation of technologies and setting up of startup companies, and licensing of internally developed technologies to commercial partners.
Danny holds a Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Cambridge, an MBA from Vlerick Leuven Management School in Belgium and a B.Sc. in Biology from Tel Aviv University.
